All children can be dropped off between 8.30am and 9.30am and picked up between 4.30pm and 5.30pm. During this time children have a choice of free play activities supervised by our camp staff.
All children must be in camp by 9.30am to start the days planned activities. If you wish to pick up your child before 4.30pm then just let our Camp Manager know in the morning so they can get your child ready for collection.
Our Camp Manager and a minimum of 5 other camp staff working each day are first-aid trained. We also have a fully qualified lifeguard on duty throughout the day when we have swimming lessons or activities in our outdoor heated pool.
Please note any regular medication that needs to be administered during camp on your booking form online. If you have other medication that needs to be administered with short notice please speak to our Camp Manager in the morning of camp and they will ask you to complete a form so we can administer the medication.
A water bottle, healthy lunch and two snacks must be packed daily for camp. Please note we are nut/sesame free so please remember no peanut butter or Nutella sandwiches!
Please also check out our FAQs page. If you are unable to find the information you need please drop us an email on info@hoebridgecamps.co.uk.
Nico is a Level 2 ECB-qualified coach who has been part of Twenty20 Community Cricket since 2022. He coaches players aged 8–16, helping them develop their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of the game. Nico works with players across all ability levels — from beginners to county-standard cricketers — and is also the MCC Foundation Guildford Hub Boys head coach. Through school coaching and after-school clubs, he promotes cricket participation and engagement from an early age. In addition to his work with Twenty20, Nico is the Head Coach at Old Woking Cricket Club, where he leads structured training sessions, manages junior programmes, and oversees both winter nets and summer camps. He has played a key role in player development and team success, supporting several young cricketers to achieve county recognition and scholarships.
Mrs Cousins is a Level 2 ECB-qualified coach and an experienced teacher who has developed her coaching through both school and club cricket, working alongside established coaches including Nico at OWCC. She works with players across a wide range of ages and abilities, helping young cricketers build confidence, improve their technical skills, and enjoy the game in a positive and supportive environment. Alongside her coaching, she is a teacher at Hoe Bridge School, where she plays an active role in encouraging participation and development in sport from an early age. In addition to her school coaching, she has been instrumental in establishing and developing the ladies’ section at Old Woking Cricket Club, helping to create new opportunities for female participation in cricket. She is an established and well-respected coach within the local cricket community, delivering structured sessions that support players of all levels to develop both their skills and love for the game.
This was the first time we have used camp due to a change in our childcare arrangements. The children had the most wonderful week and I'd like to pass on thanks to the team.
