Each camp age group will be assigned a Group Leader during their time at camp. The Group Leader is responsible for their class throughout the day and will move with them to each activity.
During the booking process we ask if your child can swim 25m. We use your answer to determine the support your child will need in the swimming pool. We have a fully qualified lifeguard on duty at all times, two swimming instructors with children in Year 2 and below and one swimming instructor with children Year 3 and above. The group leader is also on the side during swimming lessons.
Epipens & Inhalers
For children with epipens and inhalers, please ensure they are packed daily. Each age group has a Group Leader with them throughout the day. The Group Leader will look after this medication and then ensure it is sent home at the end of the day or week depending on how long they are on camp.
Other medication
If you need any medication administered during camp please either email us on info@hoebridgecamps.co.uk or speak with a member of staff at drop off. We will ask you to complete a permission form.
Please remember to clearly label all items as our camp staff can contact you if they have found anything. If your child misplaces any personal items, please speak directly to the Camp Manager. On the last day of each season any unclaimed lost property will be taken to a local charity shop. We are not responsible for any items left at camp.
Should your child have a minor accident and require first aid whilst at Hoe Bridge Camps, we will notify you of the incident and pass on the details on an accident form. On the rare occasion that a more serious incident occurs, the Camp Manager or a member of staff will call you with notification immediately and follow up with an accident form.
